Majorica’s story is also about the women who have sustained this craft. For decades, skilled craftswomen have shaped every pearl and every piece of jewellery with precision, patience and expertise. Almost a century ago, Majorica set up a daycare centre for the women working in the factory, enabling them to balance their family life with their work. A gesture ahead of its time that is part of our history.
