    Legal terms and conditions of the competition

    The TERMS AND CONDITIONS of this competition are owned by MAJORICA INTERNACIONAL S.L., which reserves all types of rights over them.

    In order to be eligible for the prizes of the COMPETITION, the participating USER must accept the following TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

    Participation deadline: 31st of March 2023 (inclusive)

    Registration conditions:

    • Be of legal age
    • National identity document (DNI) or passport number
    • Full name
    • Email address
    • Mobile phone number

    To be able to participate in this COMPETITION, and to be eligible for the corresponding prize, where applicable, the data provided by the PARTICIPANT must be their own, and be accurate and up to date.

    The PARTICIPANT may submit a maximum of three drawings. The sketches will be original and may only be presented by the creators themselves. The subject of the drawings will be a ring with pearls.

    The drawings will be sent in digital format (.jpg, maximum 1.5MB), with one, two or three drawings in a single file.

    The participants must also include a video explaining their creations and what led them to participate in the competition. Explanation of command of 3D design programs and the 3D printing system will also be assessed. The video should not last any longer than one (1) minute, and cannot exceed 5MB.

    This COMPETITION will begin on the 15th of September 2022 and will last until the 31st of March 2023, both inclusive. Participants can sign up using the form provided for this purpose on this website.

    During the first fortnight of April 2023, the 150 best drawings will be shortlisted. This decision will be taken by a committee appointed in advance by the Ferrer-Dalmau Art and History Foundation.

    The 150 shortlisted works will be printed, framed and then displayed in the hallways of the Ferrer-Dalmau Art and History Foundation until the 17th of May 2023.

    The committee will meet again on the 20th of March 2023 to select the winners. The names of the winners will be posted on the Majorica.com website, as well as on the website of the Foundation, as part of the pre-Christmas celebrations.

    Failure to observe any of the aforementioned points will be a valid reason for the participant’s immediate disqualification. MAJORICA assumes no liability for any misuse of the works proposed, in the event that these are illicit proposals.

    MAJORICA INTERNACIONAL will accept no liability for:

    • The loss of entries and/or entries sent after the established deadline.
    • Any technical fault or malfunction of the computer , or of the connection line, internet or website, which may impede participation.

     

    Prizes

    • 1st prize:  5,000 euros
    • 2nd prize: 3,000 euros
    • 3rd prize: 1,000 euros

    If applicable, the prize will be subject to the corresponding withholding taxes.

    The prize is personal and non-transferable, and may in no case be exchanged or altered at the request of the winner.

    MAJORICA INTERNACIONAL S.L. will have the right to modify the object of the competition when justified by extraordinary circumstances.

    The property rights of the works submitted by participants will be granted to Majorica Internacional S.L., which may present these works publicly. The creators of these works will freely grant Majorica the rights of public reproduction, always mentioning the name of their creator. Majorica Internacional, S.L. may also incorporate such works into the design of their own products, without this attributing any right or royalty to the participants.

    Participation in this competition entails the acceptance of these terms and conditions and the transfer of personal data to Majorica Internacional, S.L., which will be the company responsible for processing these data.

    All personal information provided by the PARTICIPANT will be processed and protected in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 of the 13th of December on Personal Data Protection.

    These data will be incorporated into a file owned by the data controller to process participation in the competition and in order for them to be considered in potential processes of personnel selection. Participants have the right to (i) access their personal data, and also to (ii) request the rectification of inaccurate data, or if applicable, request the erasure thereof, (iii) request the restriction of processing of their data, (iv) object to the processing of their data and (v) request the portability of the data. Participants may exercise all of these rights by sending an email to [[email protected]], indicating the reason for the request.

    This competition is jointly sponsored by the MAJORICA brand and by the Ferrer-Dalmau Art and History Foundation. BOTH reserve the right to take legal action against individuals who undertake any action which may be considered manipulation or falsification of this COMPETITION.

    The Ferrer-Dalmau Art and History Foundation is an open, unifying and inclusive cultural space whose main purpose is to present and highlight the importance of art and history in Spain.
